Last weekend my friend Liya and I had the opportunity to check out Work/Shop. It’s a cute little shop filled with inspiring goods created by artists as well as a work area that allows the shop to host creative makers from an array of workshops in town to teach classes for skilled crafters and beginners like me. Some of the workshops that they offer are wreath making, leather journal binding, vase arrangements, calligraphy, candle making, and they also offer a drop-in classes where you get to make bath bombs and terrariums.
We decided to join the drop in bath bomb making class and also check out the adorable shop full of happy plants and flowers.
The wonderful thing about this little shop is that you are able to learn a crafty skill surrounded by other people who you can connect with and a professional instructor who you can be guided by. They also provide the necessary materials and you just get to enjoy learning to make beautiful things.
If you live in the Portland area, this shop is a must. Even if you don’t sign up for any of the classes go check out their shop and admire the flowers and succulents!
